Talang Volcano (also known as Salasi or Sulasih) is located in Sumatra.
There are two crater lakes on the 2,896 m high volcano, the largest being Danau Talang.
In April 2005 an eruption of Talang sent ash 1000 metres high. Over 40,000 people were evacuated from the volcano.
