NGC 6349 (also MCG 6-38-16 and PGC 60060) is a magnitude +14.3 spiral galaxy located 531 million light-years away in the constellation Hercules.
The galaxy forms an optical double galaxy with NGC 6351.

The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 15th July 1879. 

Right Ascension 17h 19m 06.4s, Declination +36° 03' 41"
