NGC 6351 (also MCG 6-38-17 and PGC 60063) is a magnitude +15.2 peculiar galaxy located in the constellation Hercules. 
The galaxy is in the process of colliding with the neighbouring galaxy SDSS J171911.7 +360340.   NGC 6351 also forms an optical double galaxy with NGC 6349.

The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 15th July 1879. 

Right Ascension 17h 19m 10.9s, Declination +36° 03' 36"
