The ISS Progress 38 cargo resupply ship successfully docked to the aft end of the International Space Station's Zvezda service module at 12:17 p.m. EDT Sunday. The docking was executed flawlessly by Progress' Kurs automated rendezvous system.

Resupply Craft Go For Sunday Docking

International Space Station Program officials from NASA and Roscosmos met Saturday morning and agreed to proceed toward a second docking attempt for the ISS Progress 38 cargo ship on Sunday, July 4, at approximately 16:10 GMT (12:10 p.m. EDT).

Russian cargo spaceship Progress M-06M which failed to dock with the International Space Station (ISS) Friday is ready for yet another attempt Sunday.
The orbit of the spaceship will be adjusted twice to ensure a successful docking, a source at the Mission Control Centre said.

A cargo vessel which failed to dock with the International Space Station is under control, a Russian space agency official has said.
Mission controllers are still trying to establish what went wrong with the docking system on the ship.
The spaceship was carrying food, fuel and other supplies, but the station is still currently well stocked.
There will not be another attempt to dock the delivery vehicle before Sunday, officials said.
