Comet C/2010 E5 (SCOTTI) was discovered by J. V. Scotti (LPL/Spacewatch II). The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 20th January, 2011, at a distance of approximately 4.02 AU from the Sun.
