Update:
The 200 - 450 metre wide asteroid 2009 WW25 made a close pass (67.6 lunar distances, 0.1738 AU), travelling at 7.28 km/second, to the Earth-Moon system on the 12th December, 2009.

The Lunar Distance (LD), the distance between Earth and the Moon, equals 384,401 km, (or 0.00256 AU).
