Comet C/2009 W1 (Hill) was discovered by R. Hill (Catalina Sky Survey) on the 18th November, 2009.
The orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 26th June, 2009, at a distance of 2.46 AU from the Sun.
