The 16 - 35 metre wide asteroid 2009 VX will make a close pass (2.6 Lunar Distances, 0.0066 AU), travelling at 14.13 km/s, to the Earth-Moon system on the 12th November, 2009. The asteroid was discovered by the Catalina Sky Survey (CSS) on the 9th November, 2009.
