The 15 - 34 metre wide asteroid 2009 TP8 made a close pass (23.8 Lunar Distances, 0.0611 AU), travelling at 7.23 km/s, to the Earth-Moon system on the 13th October, 2009.

The Lunar Distance (LD), the distance between Earth and the Moon, equals 384,401 km, (or 0.00256 AU).
