Comet C/2009 T3 (LINEAR) was discovered on the 14th October, 2009 by the LINEAR monitoring telescope.
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 5th January, 2010, at a distance of  2.33 AU from the Sun.
