A brand new state-of-the-art observatory is set to open its doors later this month. Kielder Water and Forest Park will unveil the facility as part of its Art and Architecture programme. The timber-build observatory is located on Black Fell hilltop and was designed by the London-based Charles Barclay Architects.
The Kielder Observatory is a new astronomical facility for the north of England.
