At magnitude -4.4 venus is easily spotted with the naked eye.

Venus (during full daylight) captured with a 100mm refractor and Vesta pro webcam + Baader contrast filter + IR-cut filter.

Easily spotted with the naked eye next to the crescent moon. The 'half moon' shape can easily be seen through the telescope.
