Supernova 2006oq

A Type Ia, magnitude 15.8 supernova, 2006oq, was discovered on the 17th November, 2006, by the Catalina Sky Survey near the elliptical galaxy NGC 3841 in the constellation Leo.
It is located 29" east and 19" north of the centre of the galaxy.

Position(2000): t R.A. = 11h44m00s.07, Dec. = +19°58'38".3
z = 0.021201
