Archaeologists are determined to resume their excavations in part of the Burnt City historical site where remains of a possible temple from the 2nd millennium BC have been found. Remains of an architectural construction believed to be of a 5000-year-old temple were unearthed during the previous stages of excavations in Burnt City historical site. Archaeological activities are now resumed in building no. 1 of Burnt City prehistoric site to unveil the secrets behind the architectural evidence scattered in this area. According to Mansour Sajadi, head of excavation team in Burnt City, what archaeologists call "building no. one" is in fact remains of the biggest architectural construction discovered in the residential section of the Burnt City.
