Asteroid 697 Galilea (1910 JO) makes its closest approach to the Earth (2.345 AU) on the 13th March 2018.

Asteroid 697 Galilea is a minor planet orbiting the Sun.
It was discovered by J. Helffrich in Heidelberg on the 14th February 1910, and named in honour of Galileo Galilei, as the discovery was just after the 300th anniversary of his discovery of the Galilean moons.
