NGC 2076 (also MCG -3-15-12, IRAS 05445-1648, and PGC 17804) is a magnitude +13.0 edge-on spiral(?) galaxy located 99 million light-years away in the constellation Lepus. 

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 4th February 1785.

The galaxy hosted supernova 2003hx

Right Ascension 05h 46m 47.4s, Declination -16° 46' 58"
