NGC 2954 (also UGC 5155, MCG 3-25-19, and PGC 27600) is a magnitude +12.3 elliptical galaxy located 175 million light-years away in the constellation Leo.

The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 45.72 cm (18 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town, on the 18th March 1836.

The galaxy hosted supernova 1993C

Right Ascension 09h 40m 24.0s, Declination +14° 55' 21"
