Russia reopens Tsar Nicholas family murder case

Russian investigators have reopened a notorious murder case dating back to 1918 - that of the last tsar and his family, the Romanovs.

The Russian Imperial Romanov family were shot in Yekaterinburg on 17 July 1918. The Tsar and his family were executed by Bolsheviks led by Yakov Yurovsky under the orders of the Ural Soviet.
