Nigel Richard Wood, (1949 July 21 York) British engineer Payload Specialist 2 astronaut, aboard the cancelled Space Shuttle mission STS-61-H in June 1986. Selected April 1985 to fly on the British Skynet Program. Joined the publicity team of the Royal Air Force. Then stationed at Ministry of Defence. Later chief test pilot, Boscombe Down.
