Lake Afton Public Observatory to close

The Lake Afton Observatory will close next month.
Attendance at the observatory is about 4,000 a year, roughly half what it was when it opened in 1981.
The final public program at Lake Afton, "Sizing up Saturn," will be Aug. 22.
