NGC 751 (also Arp 166, MCG 5-5-35, UGC 1431 or PGC 7370) is a magnitude +12.5 elliptical galaxy located 237 million light-years away in the constellation Triangulum. The galaxy is interacting with NGC 750.
The galaxy was discovered by Irish astronomer Bindon Blood Stoney, assistant to William Parsons 3rd Earl of Rosse, using the 'Parsonstown Leviathan' 182.88 cm (72 inch) reflector at Birr Castle on the 11th October 1850.
