NGC 1054 (also IRAS 02394+1800, MCG 3-7-46 and PGC 10242) is a magnitude +13.9 spiral galaxy located 448 million light-years away in the constellation Aries.
The galaxy was discovered by German-Danish astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 8th October 1864
