NGC 8 (also Holm 3B and PGC 648) is a magnitude +15.2 and +16.5 (K5 and F8) double star located 142 ±31 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus.

The double star was discovered by Russian-German astronomer Otto Wilhelm von Struve using a 38.1 cm (15 inch) refractor at the Pulkovo Observatory, near St Petersburg on the 29th September 1865. 

Right Ascension 00h 08m 45.3s, Declination +23° 50' 20"

 It is approximately 2.7 arc minutes away from NGC 9.
