NGC 101 (also ESO 350-14, IRAS 00214-3248, MCG -5-2-3 and PGC 1518) is a magnitude +12.8 barred spiral galaxy located 156 million light-years away in the constellation Sculptor.

The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at his Feldhausen Observatory at Wynberg in Cape Town on the 25th September 1834. 

Right Ascension 00h 23m 54.5s, Declination -32° 32' 11"
