NGC 832 (also PGC 8280?) is possibly a magnitude +14.4 double star located in the constellation Triangulum.
The object was discovered by German-Danish astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 Merz-Refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 17th September 1865.
Identification of the object is uncertain, as the position given by d'Arrest does not show anything that could resemble a nebula. NGC 832 is possibly the nearby galaxy PGC 8280 (also listed as LEDA 8280).
