NGC 6783 (also MCG 8-35-7 and PGC 63003) is a magnitude +14.4 compact galaxy located 416 million light-years away in the constellation Cygnus.

The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Édouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 4th August 1872. 

Right Ascension 19h 16m 47.5s, Declination +46° 01' 05"
