NGC 2930 (also MCG 4-23-18, WAS 1 or PGC 27404) is a magnitude +14.2 spiral galaxy located 339 million light-years away in the constellation Leo.
The galaxy was discovered by Danish-German astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 Merz-Refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 21st February 1863.
