NGC 3611 (also NGC 3604, UGC 6305, MCG 1-29-26, IRAS11149+0449, ZWG 39.103, Todd 1 and PGC 34478) is a magnitude +11.9 almost face-on spiral galaxy located 73 million light-years away in the constellation Leo.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Clayhall Farm House in Old Windsor, on the 27th January 1786. The galaxy was rediscovered by Herschel in December 1786 and relisted as NGC 3604.
