NGC 5125 (also  MCG 2-34-11, UGC 8421 and PGC 46827) is a magnitude +12.6 almost face-on spiral galaxy located 321 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo.

The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 18th January 1828.

The galaxy hosted  supernova 1997co

Right Ascension 13h 24m 00.7s, Declination +09° 42' 37"
