Ruzhany meteorite on display in Sapieha Palace museum

The museum at Sapieha Palace in Ruzhany, Pruzhany District, has got a unique artifact - Ruzhany meteorite, BelTA learned from the museum director Ruslan Kniga.
The meteorite is one of the most common types - a chondrite. It weighs about 25kg and is about the size of two football balls.
The artifact was discovered by accident when the fence at the local church of Sts Peter and Paul was redone.
