NGC 7542 (also CGCG 431-25 or PGC 70796) is a magnitude +14.5 galaxy located 544 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus. 

NGC 7542 was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) reflector in Malta on the 5th October 1864.

RA 14d 23h 41.7s, Dec +10° 38' 36"
