NGC 1013 (also McG-2-7-46, NPM1G -11.0097 and PGC 9966) is a magnitude + 14.0 spiral S0-a type galaxy located 380 million light-years away in the constellation Cetus.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on September 29, 1886.
