Iranian-born entrepreneur Anousheh Ansari's trip of a lifetime came to an end early Friday with the landing of a Russian Soyuz space capsule.
Ansari and two professional astronauts — Russian Pavel Vinogradov and American Jeffrey Williams — left the international space station for their three-hour descent to the Kazakh steppes aboard a cramped Russian Soyuz capsule. Touchdown came on schedule, just before sunrise Friday in Kazakhstan (9:14 p.m. ET Thursday).
