Further to CBET 3422, K. Blanchard, W. Zheng, S. B. Cenko, W. Li, and A. V. Filippenko report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova in NGC 2554 on unfiltered KAIT images:

A possible magnitude 15.1 Supernova was discovered on the 25th March, 2013, by the Katzman Automatic Imaging Telescope, in the galaxy NGC 2554 in the constellation Cancer. The supernova is located 1" west and 10" south from the center of the galaxy. As yet the type is unknown.
