70 years later, declassified documents shed new light on B-25 crash

Throughout the years, Licking County has experienced its share of plane crashes.
The worst, however, occurred on Sept. 8, 1942, when a B-25C bomber plummeted from the skies, slamming into a residential area of Newark.
The crash killed eight people and left more injured and burned; it remains the area's worst aviation disaster.
