A United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket blasted off from Vandenberg Air Force Base on September 13 at 2:39 p.m. following a launch delay that lasted more than a month due to instrumentation issues.
The next launch on the agenda is the Minuteman III, slated for a November 14 takeoff.

Atlas 5 rocket launch on track for this afternoon

After a six-week delay, an Atlas 5 rocket is back on track for liftoff this afternoon from south Vandenberg Air Force Base.
Blastoff of the United Launch Alliance rocket is planned for 21:39 UT. from Space Launch Complex-3, with the team reportedly having about 30 minutes to get the rocket off the ground or postpone the countdown.

Date/Launch Time/Site: Thursday, Sept. 13, from Space Launch Complex (SLC)-3 at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. Launch is set for 21:39 UT (2:39 p.m. PDT).
NROL-36 will be the fourth and final planned launch for the NRO in 2012 and the 8th of 11 planned launches for United Launch Alliance in 2012.
