The Soyuz TMA-04M spacecraft carrying Expedition 31 Flight Engineers Joe Acaba, Gennady Padalka and Sergei Revin blasts off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 11:01 p.m. EDT, May 14.
NASA astronaut Joe Acaba and Russian cosmonauts Gennady Padalka and Sergei Revin launched aboard a Soyuz spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 11:01 p.m. EDT on Monday (9:01 a.m. Tuesday, Kazakhstan time), beginning a two-day flight to the International Space Station. Read more
Soyuz TMA-04M is a planned 2012 flight to the International Space Station (ISS). It will transport Expedition 31's three-member crew to the ISS. TMA-04M will be the Soyuz spacecraft's 113th flight since its initial launch in 1967. As per the mission plan, the spacecraft will remain docked to the space station to serve as an emergency escape vehicle during Expedition 31. Read more (576kb, PDF)
