The company has scheduled an "announcement" for 17:30 GMT, Tuesday, April 24th 2012 at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington. Tickets for this event were offered for sale to the general public, at a basic price of (U.S.) $25.00. Scientists have spent the past two years getting to grips with its data. Read more Ed ~ It could be speculated that the announcement will promise the sky, (or ocean); The reality is that 'that promise' is probably still a long way off. __________________

Start-Up Sees New Frontier in Mining

On Tuesday, Planetary Resources Inc., whose mission has been shrouded in secrecy, will outline in Seattle its plan to send an unmanned spacecraft to an asteroid and mine it for valuable metals and water that could be used in further space exploration or returned to earth.
