Itapicuru Mirim (3°24'S; 44°20'W)
Fall circumstances - The Itapicuru Mirim, State of Maranhao, meteorite fell in the morning (11.00 hr) on a clear day in March, 1879. The fall was accompanied by sound effects (shot, gun) and one single stone was recovered.

The Itapicuru-Mirim (H5) meteorite fell in Maranhao, Brazil, sometime in March, 1879.
A total mass of 2.02 kg was recovered.
