Seismic relay station equipment stolen

According to the DOSTs official report, a team from DOST-Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) found out that five pieces of 12-volt batteries and several meters of cables connected to the seismic sensors of the two stations in the municipality were missing.
The report noted that since December 14 last year, the seismic station of the DOST-Phivolcs in Legazpi has not received any data from the two unmanned stations.
