A sign celebrating a village's heritage is to be put up next week.
Penkhull Residents' Association will place the sign at the junction of Gresty Street and Honeywall in Penkhull.
It will mark the location of the entrance to the former Iron Age Fort and the ancient Domesday Village that once capped the hill of Penkhull overlooking the River Trent at Hanford.
