Alpha Capricorni (Struve 51) is an optical double star in the constellation Capricornus. It has the traditional names Algiedi, Al Giedi, Algedi or Giedi; however, Giedi is sometimes also associated with Beta Capricorni.
The optical double are separated by 0.11°, and resolvable with the naked eye, similar to Mizar and Alcor. The primary (3.6 mag) is orange. The secondary (4.2 mag) is white.
