Microsatellite picks up science gong

AN engineer who is pioneering the rollout of broadband in Antarctica has won the country's top prize for taking technological insights to the marketplace.
Last night, electromagnetic engineer John Ness received the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering's ATSE Clunies Ross award at a black-tie ceremony in Brisbane, where his firm EM Solutions is based.
