Tuesday morning, early risers will find a thin waning crescent moon sitting less than 3 degrees above and to the right of Mars one hour before sunrise. The celestial duo will sit within 15 degrees of the east-northeastern horizon. By Wednesday morning, the thin crescent will have slid by Mars and sit about 10 degrees to the upper right of Venus.
