The 2 - 5 metre wide asteroid 2011 CA7 will make a close pass (58.1 lunar distances, 0.1492 AU), travelling at 5.43 km/second, to the Earth-Moon system on the 23rd July, 2012 @ 16:46 UT ±14:47.

The Lunar Distance (LD), the distance between Earth and the Moon, equals 384,401 km, (or 0.00256 AU).

The 2-3 metre wide asteroid 2011 CA7 will pass by the Earth at 17.00 UTC on the 9th February, 2011. At closest distance, the asteroid will pass at a distance of 110,000 km, one third of the distance from Earth to the Moon.
Tomorrow evening the magnitude 17 asteroid will travel through the constellation Orion.
