It will be tough getting a table at many Tucson restaurants over the next couple of weeks, but it won't be tough finding a great gem for yourself or someone else.
You can join the tens of thousands of people worldwide arriving here for the Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil Showcase.
There will be dozens of events, many of which are clustered along Interstate 10 in hotels and motels from St. Mary's Road to south of 22nd Street; near Kino Sports Complex; in the downtown area; and north on Oracle Road.

Tucson's Biggest Fossil Display Opens to the Public

A 4,000-square-foot display of authentic fossils, currently being assembled at GeoDecor's Tucson showroom for their upcoming annual show, will include a huge duckbill dinosaur skull and other dinosauria, a 12-foot-long Cretaceous fish, a museum-class collection of incredible meteorites, a matched pair of large, exquisite fossil palm fronds, fantastic mineral sculptures, a massive prehistoric alligator and a huge turtle, gigantic woolly mammoth and woolly rhinoceros skeletons and much more.
