A faulty component on the Delta 2 rocket at Vandenberg Air Force Base played a Halloween trick on those hoping to see the blastoff tonight.
Crews will now shoot for liftoff of the 12-story rocket from Space Launch Complex-2 at 7:20 p.m. Monday, officials said.
Mission managers scrubbed the liftoff attempt just before 7 p.m. after spotting the glitch involving the United Launch Alliance rocket.

Less scary weather will greet the Delta 2 crew at Vandenberg Air Force Base on Halloween for a launch attempt delayed two days by a rocket fuel problem.
The team now is aiming for the United Launch Alliance rockets departure at 7:20 p.m. Sunday from Space Launch Complex-2 at Vandenberg.

The launch of a Delta 2 rocket from Vandenberg Air Force Base tentatively has been delayed 48 hours due to a problem related to the space booster.
Liftoff of the rocket from Space Launch Complex-2 at Vandenberg now will shoot for 7:20 p.m. Sunday, officials said Wednesday evening. The launch initially was set for Friday night.
