The launch of the United Launch Alliance Delta IV with the Air Force's Global Positioning System IIF SV-1 satellite is tentatively rescheduled for May 27. The Delta IV rocket and GPS IIF SV-1 satellite are safe and secure at this time. The next launch attempt has been tentatively set for Thursday. The fourth launch attempt of the first GPS IIF space vehicle (SV1) was scrubbed Sunday night. According to a United Launch Alliance (ULA) announcement, during the final seconds of the launch countdown, "an anomalous data signature with the thrust vector control system" on one of the two solid rocket motors mounted to the Delta IV booster was detected.
