Confirmed:
A magnitude 15.3 supernova, 2010V, was discovered by the Mobile Astronomical System of the TElescope-Robots (MASTER) on the 4th February, 2010, in galaxy PGC 5171 in the constellation Bootes.
The supernova is located 1" West and 4" South from the center of the galaxy.
As yet the type is unknown.

Position (2000): RA 14 28 38.53, Dec +30 38 09.7

The supernova is located 1" West and 4" South from the center of the galaxy.

Position (2000): RA 14 28 38.46, Dec +30 38 09.5
