Confirmed:
A magnitude 14.4 supernova, 2010B, was discovered by M. Tsuboi on the 7th January, 2010, in the spiral galaxy NGC5370.
The supernova is located 5.1"  West and 9.1"  North from the center of the galaxy.
As yet the type is unknown.

A possible magnitude 14.4 supernova was discovered on the 7th January, 2010, in the spiral galaxy NGC5370 in the constellation Ursa Major. 
The supernova is located 5' West and 9' North from the center of the galaxy.

Position (2000): RA 13 54 08.7, Dec +60 40 50.4
